The luxury home market in Hamilton and Ancaster is booming. The upswing in luxury home purchases in Ancaster is driven by relatively low interest rate environment and plenty of buyers from 416 area code. The Hamilton-Burlington region saw a 31 per cent increase in luxury home sales. What is not longer affordable in Toronto as far as single detached homes are concern in Ancaster is still very attractive price wise. Homes in Ancaster are 30-40% cheaper than in Toronto. For many buyers and investors commuting makes sense.
